I apologize for the late posts (:
have been awfully lazy to sit down to blog. also, there is seriously nothing to blog about.
well, weather here has been pretty good (its quite hot now) comparatively when I first arrived here.
alright, everything here has been pretty darn good so far. school is still pretty relaxed apart from me being extremely last minute and leaving the house at 8.25am or 1.25pm when my class starts at 8.30am/1.30pm.

okay, after much dragging and waiting, I finally watched transformers 2!
one word to describe the movie- wait, make it 2: ULTRA LONG.
I was like having back aches at the end of the show.
overall, the show was pretty much okay, just that it was kinda weird at some points. Not because I've read: http://www.seattlepi.com/movies/407674_film28878170.html before the movie but also, it was really kinda weird at some points. although some of the points in the web were kinda crap.

urgh, I really can't be bothered to blog.

okay that was yesterday.
today was like really not-as-cold-as-expected?
I tell you why in abit.

alright,
so yesterday! I did not sleep in the airplane! could not sleep at all!
so when we arrived at my mom's friend's place, my entire family practically slept the entire day away from like 11am to 4pm so we really didn't get to see anything! oh! but after dinner, we went for a night drive to somewhere near the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House (which was not very obvious cos the Opera house was like dark.)

4th June 'o9

okay so next day, totally woke up late cos of I don't know what.
so headed down to MU to take a look at the campus, the weather was really nice and a lovely temperature of 14 degrees! so we went to visit the school's registra (who happens to be a friend of my mom's friend who we are staying with at the moment. LOL)

and had a 10minute look around the area which wasn't really of much help butbut! most importantly, I think Australians are really darn cool cos they can just wear a singlet, board shorts, slippers and walk around like its summer! like damn, I wanna be like them. HAHAHA. but I'll probably be some frozen piece of fat meat walking around.

and after lunch, we went down to my hostel (btw they call it a college) to take a look to see if its good or not and its really really neat! its like really pretty and the environment is really cool so yea, I'm staying there! I didn't take alot of photos cos I didn't have the time to snap alot.

after that, we went to the shopping center nearby, Macquarie Center! and there's Borders there (hurray something familiar)!

but the food! oh my! there are so many cheese products there which is like OMGOSH YAY! hahah I was at WoolWorths (our equivilant of Giant) and they sold like this DAMN BIG CHUNK of cheese for like AUD$7.90 and I was like I wouldn't be able to finish this until next year. And I can finally get to try Krispy Kreme!

haha! and we bought some scones back home and my dad accidentally hit the scones with umbrella.

Me: OMG DAD how can you hit the bag!
Dad: aiya, its just a plastic bag, nothing will happen.
Me: Do you know there are scones in this bag!? See, it's all dented!
Dad: Sorry then.
Me: You shoudn't apologize to me! You should be apologizing to the scones!
Dad: Sorry Scones.
Me: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAA.

okay, so today where did we go? errr. oh ya, we went to the Eastwood Area which was totally nice! I was walking around looking at some stuff and I saw them selling puppies! OH MY THEY WERE SO CUTE! ESPECIALLY THE MALTESE PUPPIES AND THE MINI SCHNAUZER! OMG SO CUTE! THEY WERE SO ITSY BITSY AND SO LOVELY! Sorry Oreo and Bianca, I still love you guys loads.

and after that we went to the fresh supermart where they sold out of this world fresh vegetables and fruits with cabbages bigger than a bowling ball. omgosh fresh or fresh!?

Today was totally exciting!
We went on the river cab to the city!
oh my did I take so many pictures! I was like frantically snapping away! and I totally loved the sea breeze! and the houses here are totally awesome!

and we passed Darling Harbor and went to Circular Quay where we saw the Sydney Harbor Bridge and the Sydney Opera House which was totally cool and I want to climb the bridge but I'll have to save up first and find someone less afraid to go with me because my parents aren't keen!

I'm really lazy to type. Let the pictures do the talking!

okay, then we went to Bondi Beach! There were so many dogs! how wonderful! and yea, Australians are so darn cool they can be in their shorts on the beach when it was so windy! but it was a great day with the sun out and all.

it is so amusing!
but I am definitely not gonna have tom yam soup in the near future!
not going to miss it at all.

okay, so two days ago, Zhi Yong, Russell and I went to Escape themepark (SAMUEL LUM YOU CHEATED ME.)
so we started off with the super fun tutu train ride which was really duper fun cos it was so fast moving and the little boy next to me was so cute. (Best ride in Escape btw.)
okay then I can't remember what we took next but I believe it was some superman ride I like to call it which was fun but not as fun as the first ride.
then we went to take the go kart thingy I think. Zhi Yong was being really mean to keep predicting that girls will always be last. although it was the case 95% of the time.

the water slide game was the best, although again its 2nd to the first ride we took.
went on it 4 times with unwanted injuries inflicted halfway through the ride, and Zhi Yong got damn wet because of me HAHAHAHHAHAHA yay!

okay then we played a whole lot of other things including the cute little airplane ride and the haunted house which btw I didn't see a single thing inside (: and the pirate ship which I watched from afar because I felt the ride was too immature and not scary enough.

omgosh this post is so stupid HAHAH.

and after that Zhi Yong and I went blading while Russell went to find his friend at some chalet.

hahahhaha I totally forgot how to skate! and I was moving at like 1 mile per hour and Zhi Yong is like 294072395720934709248km in front of me. and Wei Jie came! thank goodness there were the two of them otherwise I think I would have rolled down the slope and become some pancake look alike.

after that, we watched:

I know I haven't been updating faithfully!
because I simply don't have the time!
but its not like there are a lot of people reading this space, which makes it so retarded cos' its like I'm literally talking to myself. hah.

alright, so everything has been super hectic with I don't know what. I think 24 hours in a day is not enough!
gosh, its like Thursday already, I'll be leaving for Aussie in less than 2 weeks and hey, there are 5 cases of H1N1 there. (:

haha okay. so haven't really met everyone yet but I don't know if I do have the time to meet everyone.

alright, packing is on the way, already got one luggage full of stuff still have like a lot to prepare and its kinda like more than I expected because you never know what you need there and its like winter.

and not to mention I will so miss my family and dearest lil Oreo who can finally recognize her name! if she can stop biting me, she'll be so much more adorable.

alright! going all the way back to sometime last week, Gladys and I went to check out GO TO DMC! right right!

alright. I want to watch Shoppaholic, Departures and Gran Torino but I can live without watching Torino.

hmmm. I am seriously lazy to update what I did for my birthday, its really just the same old thing,

okay so yea, that sums up what I did for my birthday except this year I got a cooler present (or two) from mom and this year is my significant 18th.

with Aishah yesterday, we were suppose to watch He's just not that into You but timings were all off cos' we were gonna have highhhhh tea at 3.30pm and all the movie timings for He's is at 1.30-2pm and the movie is like 2hours plus long? we would be terribly late and our money would go to waste.

yup, okay I admit, I quite old fashion or whatever you call it in a way that this is my first M18 movie and I don't really think I'll be catching one more anytime soon because I am not into movies where people get exploded by supernatural forces and your jaw and leg muscles get stuck on the ceiling. I don't think I would get used to having people breaking arms and legs and blood squirting out like someone squeezing tomato sauce out of its bottle. thats right, I am not into gore.

but it was something fresh, pretty hilarious at some point laughing about Dan having flabby abs and hairy chest and this blue guy that can teleport to Mars but doesn't bother to teleport his underwear with him and end up kinda showing the audience his bits, so yea its pretty okay.

so yup, after that we went to have high tea and Equinox (again) but hey I like to go there cos it's neat. they finally changed the food there so yay! I like it again! I love their scones!
so now I really kinda like that place again and I wanna go back! yummmm and furthermore, it's only like $23 per pax!

alright, as for today, I caught:

Marley and Me like FINALLY!

and Oh my gosh I loved this show! Of course besides the part where Gladys and I were crying like babies because of the ending, it was really a great show! I loved it! and really enjoy it!
So I caught this movie with Wayne, Zhi Yong and Gladys and we were suppose to catch the 2.30pm show but Wayne kinda overslept and so we had to walk all the way from Cathay Cineplex to The Cathay which almost made me faint but thank goodness we made it on time for the 2.50pm show.
and I really got to remember to bring tissue paper.
so yea we ate at Astons which I kinda like it! having not eaten it for sucha long time and its not expensive! so yea we slacked abit here and there, met Jasmine and Samantha at PS and Jasmine we so gotta catch up! slacked a little bit more and then we went home!
zzzzz, heading down to town tomorrow again which is kinda tiring but nevermind.

yay next I am gonna watch Race to Witch Mountain!

anyway!
the past two or three days have been really fun and eventful and made me one very happy person.

yes! My VS stuff finally arrived from the U.S. and that totally made my day! and ohohoh they are so hawt!

and I so love their bags!
I'm like totally indulging in that moment.
my mom loved the stuff I bought more than the ones she bought which does not make sense at all but yea.
buying stuff from VS during their Clearance Sale is the best thing to do online!
can't wait for their next sale!

and I am totally happy with what I got although a couple of stuff seemed to be totally different in size from what I saw online and turned out so much bigger than on the internet.

but the chalet was really darn hilarious and really fun.

Thank you chef Wayne for cooking our stuff and without you we would be eating sashimi.

in the afternoon we played loads of bonding games and it was really funny having Samuel playing concentration when he always goes out of beat and makes everyone confused and we would have to do it over and over again and we were supposedly suppose to go cycling and blading but it rained ):
the east side has been raining these few days!
(I think it is gonna rain again later here)
so Wen Xi, Gladys and I waited for the rain to end at the bicycle shop while the guys+Jessie rod back to the chalet in the heavy downpour.
So after the rain, Wen Xi went off first cos she had her skates on while Gladys and I strolled back to the chalet where we had to wash our feet every 50meters because sand always got into our slippers and yea,

BARBECUE!

hahahah, this has got to be the most eventful barbecue I have ever been too.
apart from the

super cute cat that..
(I didn't take a picture of him ):)
was really friendly and pretty and lovable and hungry and always followed and stuck to us and tempted a couple of us to bring him home,
(you get the idea)

it rained like 4 times during the 3-4 hours of barbecue and made everyone with umbrellas flocking to the pit to cover the food so that it would be cooked without getting wet and poor Douglas had to keep running around in search for an umbrella to take shelter under.

so it rained once,
twice,

until the final rain totally blew the socks off everyone.
the wind and rain was freezing cold and literally freezing cold!
so yea we were like
"QUICK COVER THE FOOD"
"FASTER THE FOOD IS WET!"
and everyone rushed to the pit to cover the food and run for shelter

Finally,
I watched:

Yes! Finally! and it was a great show! really touching and really good! there were some parts that were really hilarious and some parts that were really realistic and reminding us how cruel this world really is. I shed a tear (ya one only. okay maybe two) when Jamil's brother died which was really sad and the jumping into the shit part was totally funny. (sorry for the spoiler if you haven't watched it but I think by now everyone should have watched it!

FFA was a total failure, it's like having hypertension and panic shocks for 2hours all the way which almost made me get asthma even though I don't have them.

luckily, I am able to channel away bad thoughts and throw them to Antarctica where they can freeze until it is time to face the cold, hard truth.

honestly, I am freaking scared about getting my results back and that totally sucks.

anyway,
had some sort of post exam celebration outing with half of TA27, [I wouldn't really consider it a celebration because half the time I was wailing away about how dreadful my FFA paper turned out to be]
and so, we headed off to Marina Square [which I totally adore because it is near my house (:] and while crapping the way there, Wen Xi and I started playing the "spot-our-dream-car" game which I think I was the only one in the game, and I spotted 2 PORSCHE CAYENNEs AND 3 AUDI Q7s!
Oh my was I happy, it's not every day you get to see so many sexy cars and are in fact the ones I love!
okay, okay, back to where I was, errrr..

so we arrived at Marina Square and we settled for some Cafe Cartel student meal (which costs $6.80 and looks super nice and worth it)
and apparently, the food SUCKED.
money cheaters!

WHY?
lets see..
1. The bread was okay but I think I can make better bread than THAT. (so much for their home-made bread)
2. The baked rice took probably 10 years to come.
3. Service was super bad, (Dewei had to call for the waitress for super long)
4. The glasses of water was DIRTY. (mine had some black spot and Samuel said his had brown stuff inside)
5. And most importantly,
THE BAKED RICE WAS FREAKING PATHETIC AND THE FISH TASTED LIKE ?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!?!!??!?!
this baked rice has to be one of theeeee worst baked rice I have ever tasted. I literally had to spit out every piece of "fish" I put in my mouth because it tasted exquisite, nothing I have ever tasted before in my entire life. edible? yes it is, but not something you would ever want to eat unless you have to choose between bitter gourd juice and that. oh, the portion was miserable.

yeayea, never been there at night so thought it would something nice to go there today!

lets go all the way back to 22 December! (I know it is an awfully long time ago but that was the time I wanted to start blogging but never found the will)

It is amazing because during that week, I went for buffet 3 times a week (Shocking I know, see now why I'm so fattttttt)

I went to Fairmont Hotel for buffet lunch!
(I strongly discouraged going there in my previous post)
BUT NOW!
I take it back!
Because,
their pre-Christmas buffet Lunch is like Marvelous!
their food is like sooo good!
they had like so many desserts! and they had such a wide range of dishes!
forgive me for being unable to name a few because I forgot (:

Christmas day buffet dinner was pretty cool too.
Went Novotel Hotel down at Clark Quay with my family and my friend all the way from NZ
suprisingly, the amount of people there is like pathetic,
honestly it is like less that 20 people there?
so you can imagine having all the good food to yourself without having to fight with other people :D
I loved their Mushroom Lasagna! it was so cheesy and so nice!
Omgosh cheese is the love!
their sashimi was really good too! (but I think Plaza Hotel's sashimi has a wider range)
their roasted turkey was really tender and nice!

Yes, it was Christmas day :D
Oh right, dinner at Novotel was lovely, just that their desserts weren't exactly the best in the world. (The Line is still the best)
Raffles Hotel is 2nd.

but, any buffet that has cheesecake is a good buffet.

so the coffee house was next to the poolside, so Grace (my NZ friend), Jeniz (my crazy maid) and I went to the poolside to take some pictures.
there was this Caucasian sitting at the side of the pool (but we didn't take much notice of him yet)
so, we walked to the edge of the pool and the pool was like 4.5 meters deep? Jeniz walked nearer to the water and i pretended to push her in (when I was holding her all along) and she was so shocked she screamed
"AHHH! Mama ahhh mama mama!"
which was like totally hilarious if you were there, and that Caucasian bursted out laughing which was totally random.

And I realized that all my 17 years having being with my dad that he is such a bad photographer at times.
he has claimed that he can take wonderful pictures (which I do not doubt that) but that is only AT TIMES.
he can take FOREVER literally to take a photo.
Grace and I wanted to take a picture by the fountain down at Clark Quay, we stood there for at least 5minutes just for him to take a photo and it turned out terrible.
I totally won't trust him anymore!

okay so I really couldn't recognize my friend having not seen him in like two years or something so it was really weird.
anyway, the people there at the hotel apparently remembered my family (who wouldn't! forgetting my mom is almost impossible, she can even get ice cream for free when the buffet table doesn't offer it)

Ohhhhh! My mom totally loved the pie I baked!
so awesome! but of course my mom having such high expectations was saying that we needed to make improvements to the pie crust!
So..... instead of ONE pie, I baked TWO PIES! in one day (:

went out with my mother and m niece, Jas.
Lemme tell you, she is so hyper it is as if she is running on a battery that never runs out.
first thing first.
We went to MarketPlace Cafe at Fairmont Hotel.

Word of advice: NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER GO THERE FOR LUNCH.
PERIOD.
hahahahaha! I think the only thing worth it in the buffet was the sashimi there and the CHEESECAKE!
because..
I LOVE CHEESECAKE.
CHEESECAKE IS LOVE.
hahaha.
so over there you get to eat loads of different types of cheese cake cos they keep changing it everytime a cheesecake is gone.
yea that is the only plus point.
the rest is like..
there is nothing to eat there.
literally.
dinner is better. honestly.
but thank goodness the lunch was free so it wasn't so heart aching.

after that we went christmas shopping to get something for Jas.
She could not decide so I decided for her.

Went Thai Express for dinner but was too full.
By the time I reached home, I was dead beat.

For 30 seconds, I thought it was MONDAY today.
Damnit.

Okay, my Primary School friends came over to my house on Saturday to slack. It was actually kinda like a get-together (the last get together was around a month ago). They liked my house! With my mother's pro decorating skills and flower arrangement skills and blah blah blah, they said my house looked like a showroom!
muahahahahahahahhahahahaahhaaha.

anyway, it wasn't really a get-together that day.
COS,
I shifted,
All fun and cute things = gone.
All games = more or less gone.

so what is left?
Television and laptop.

I have to sadly declare that there is NOTHING fun for them to play. When they came to my house before I shifted, we played Monopoly! and some damn cool para para dance floor thing which I begged my parents to buy when I was one-digit years old.

all gone, cos took up too much space.

ITB presentation was really so damn crappy. I was just blabbering away because I didn't know what to say, so yea.
Our slides were like really SO DIFFERENT FROM OTHERS.
I was practically fainting when it was going to reach us cos' the previous two groups were like powerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Anyway, everyone wore kinda formal today! It was like woah. business day or something.
Forgot to take pictures! Gladys wanted to take them but I guess we both kinda forgot.

It is actually quite funny looking at everyone dressed in formal.
Not used to it at all!
But some people really pulled off the formal look really really well!
